About Portrait and Headshot Sessions

Whether we are taking your senior portraits, capturing your growing family, taking the next step in your relationship, or creating a special gift for that special someone I keep all of my sessions laid back, fun, and personal. I create a atmosphere where you can be completely comfortable and truly be yourself.  There are no guidelines, rules, or restrictions. Just a lot of fun and endless possibilities!!  To make sure we are getting exactly what you are looking for we will discuss what we want to accomplish and what we want to reflect in your images.  We will pick locations, timing, and concepts to bring your vision to life.  This will make both your experience and photos one of a kind, and one you will cherish for time to come!!

About Wedding Photography

There are three things that every bride and groom need to considers when looking for their wedding photographer.  The consistency in style, the cost, and the personal connection to the photographer that they feel when they are with them.  Make sure you see at least 3 weddings from beginning to end instead of handful of shots from multiple weddings.  You want to love how your day is captured in entirity, not just a handful of photos that were taken throughout the day.  I won’t lie, wedding photography is a investment if you are looking for a high quality professional. This is because high quality photographers invest into their clients.  We spend a lot of money and time making sure we have the right tools and equipment to provide you with the best possible.  Accomplishing this is not cheap for us.  Do not get me wrong, you should not have to sell your first born child or a vital organ to afford it, but it is still a investment.  The style and cost are ones that come pretty naturally when brides and grooms are considering their options, however, brides and grooms usually don’t fully realize how important the connection is to have between a photographer and their subject.  We are with you for one of the most intimate days of your relationship, capturing private and emotional moments.  Having a personal connection to us helps build a relationship and lets those walls come down during those private and intimate moments.  When those walls come down that is what helps us go from capturing a pretty picture to a beautifully emotional moment between two people.  So if I give you one piece of advice when it comes to wedding photography it is this.  If you love the style, and the numbers work, but you meet and don’t feel like you would want to be their personal friends, then do not hire them.  Continue your search.  This is the one thing you will have to look back on. The food and cake is eaten, the dj stops playing, you leave the venue, the dress goes in the back of the closet.  The one thing you will pull out and look back on and share with your friends and family to relive your day is your wedding photos.  So don’t cut corners here. I do not know a bride that did and didn’t immediately regret it.
If after looking around my website you love what you see and are interested in considering using me for your special day then send me a message so we can get together to get to know one another a little bit more!  There is no obligation to use us in meeting.  It will simply give you the chance to see some wedding albums, for us to go over your wants and needs more specificly, and for us to see how well we connect. If the distance is too far to meet then we can always set up a time to talk over the phone as well.  I wish you the best and hope to hear from you soon!
